Annual Golden Imam Gala
Hello Friends!
Omega Phi Beta Sorority Inc, has a strong focus on education, professionalism, service, and diversity. We are a sisterhood with an intimate network of mutual support, serving as an outlet for positive self-expression and individual growth for our members.
As the Beta Gamma chapter at NYU, our cause is "Fighting Apathy Through Youth Activisim" We try to encourage the youth in becoming academically efficient by serving as mentors to them. Every year, we have our Imam Gala, where all of our proceeds go to a young teenage girl living at a shelter. Last year we were able to raised funds to provide Sabrina Alexander with a $1000 scholarship for college.
This year on April 13, 2013 we celebrated our 6th annual Golden Imam Gala in which we provided a similar donation to Harry Baez. We need your help in realizing next year's youth's dream.
